The Carnegie Center and Indiana History Room of the Floyd County Library are pleased to offer “History Deep Dives,” a daytime history speaker series. Programs are held every other month on the 2nd Tuesday at the Carnegie Center for Art & History.

Join us this month when historian Dr. Carl Kramer discusses his recently published book Civil War Generals of Indiana in which he provides biographical sketches of every identifiable Indiana general who attained full-rank, brevet, and state-service status in the tragic struggle.

Dr. Carl E. Kramer is founder and vice-president of Kramer Associates Inc., a public history consulting firm in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He taught history for thirty-five years at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, where he was the first director of the Institute for Local and Oral History.
