Hansel & Gretel Puppet Performance

Wednesday, March 27, 2024

2:00-3:00 pm

Hansel & Gretel is a tale of German origin, published in 1812, about a young brother and sister whose lives are threatened by starvation and homelessness. The two children must save themselves and their family by using their wits and knowledge to outsmart an evil witch who has captured them. This story will enchant and enthrall as the scenes come alive under the expert showmanship of master puppeteer Richard B. Elsenpeter, who brings wooden dolls to life.

The “mystery” behind the curtain is fully explained at the close of the program as there will be a Q & A session and one of the “characters” will brought out front for a closer inspection.
